5 things we didn't actually expect to have alot in this country

well, things are like everywhere these days, there is cars, houses, boats, bridges etc etc, not only objects, people as well, actors, actresses, guai lows, lands, ethnic groups, petrolem, ermm gas? err nuts, coconut, and many more! but these are the five stuffs we know we have(or dont) and we just dint know its that much

5)Oversea Malaysian Athletes who are doing well actually

Hey look at this dude up here, bet some of you know him, but maybe few of you dint realize that he was born in Miri, Sarawak. i'm not Fking around, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shaun_maloney, Shaun Maloney well, his just good at free kicks, hence doing well, + born in MIRI, hence part malaysian, at some point i'd guess our country coaches actually dint know his existence or so and dint select em.
well theres another dude;

He's Titus James Palani, he is a Malaysian-born footballer who is a midfielder for SM Caen in France,(hayden when you reach there maybe you can look him up). Firstly, he's playing football in another country other than ours, hence doing well, like his last name, hence malaysian, and like every other people, we dint quite know he exist. In addition to this insult, he scored 16 goals! and he actually played in France since 2000, but got called up on 2007!, that's seven years!, lets say his age was a factor for the senior side, but how about the junior side? like under 15 or under 17 or under 18 or under 21 sides during his previous 7 years? call up = 0.
http://wikibin.org/articles/titus-james-palani.html

In other sports, we're actually kinda good in motor sports, anyone of you know Nandakumar Puspanathan, Gunaseelan Rajoo, Karamjit Singh etc etc? these guys are downright rally racers, Karamjit Singh was the first asian to win some event which im lazy to type here
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karamjit_Singh

he's just saying,"I'm faster than you fags"

There are other so be placed into this list, like the cyclist kiddos who won several international tournament(Fatehah Mustapa (17) - fourth in the recent Asia Cup
Fauzan Ahmad Lutfi (20) - won men’s individual pursuit, Asia Cup),
or that horse and the horse jockey whom won some awesome stuffs (Quzier Ambak Dato’ Mahamad Fathil),
oh yea we're also good at lawn bowl, whatever that is (Nor Iryani Azmi (19) - World No. 3 / Singles Champion of Champions tournament / Melbourne Commonwealth triples team gold).
Fact is that, WE DON'T KNOW THEY ARE ACTUALLY DOING WELL, and i bet there's a whole lot list of these sportsmen/women but being typical msians, i rest my case

4)Knowledge

Yes its true, at some point, some of us didn't realize that we actually have lots of knowledge, like alot, as in LOTS OF PEEPS WITH HIGH IQ, or REALLY SMART PEOPLE, fact is, there is so many of them, and so MANY THAT WERE LEFT OUT by the ermmmm lets just say dudes behind the desk(but yeah you know who i'm talking about) that they left this country to achieve unrealistically awesomeness which they DID! like what was reported on BBC, http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/1514916.stm,
Malaysians are (Jews of the East) *Yes Jayme, i know its hard to admit*,

In the whole of Asia pacific, there is only two countries who had the same problem (Which is brain drain) and the countries are Philippines and guess what! Malaysia!
it is said There has been a serious brain drain from Malaysia.

Official papers[citation needed] reported that there are a million talented Malaysians working overseas. Recently the brain drain has increased in pace: 300,000 Malaysians migrated overseas within 18 months since Jan 2008 for different reasons and among them 200,000 migrated in the first eight months of 2009. Meaning, Pollux and Jion! you're in this band xD!

Apart from that, our government realize this issue and started to do some stuffs to bring those smart awesome peeps back

Him "Hey, dude come back, i need your knowledge" phone answer "My knowledge or vote?" Him "Vote" Phone answer "Alright you got mine from here *hangs up* Him "Alright problem solved!"

At some point the brain drain continues, and hence the evidence of smart people from our country! (Aren't YOU proud to become a malaysian while reading the first few sentences from Australia or somewhere?)
And well, it has it's own webbie!! http://english.cpiasia.net/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=1612&joscclean=1&comment_id=4049&Itemid=158

To add on to this, there's even a phenomenon in our country where people just can't stop studying, its called the Tuition phenomenon,(well, we all know they want to stop, they just can't e.g parents) and whats more impressive is that there is a phenomenon called String of A's, where there's TOO MANY STRAIGHT A STUDENTS.

"Hey you the person who got 21 A1's right? darn it i just got 19 A1's and 2 A2's Crap"

Comes to the solution part, since everyone is getting smarter, why don't just raise the standard to distinguish the awesome and the okay ones? They can make like, A++ and A+ and A grades, its still all A's and still cool, but hey we all know why the level isn't getting harder do we :D. *Winks at certain people behind the desk*

3)Food

Okay, okay some of you find this part a joke, you might even think, hey we know about food we know lots of it! there's no possibility that we have a lot more than what we know right? right? RIGHT??
It seems, we're actually wrong (being a guy who enjoys food, it sucks to write this part)
We only know somewhat lets say 10% of food in our country? try to make a list, i think an average person like us can list out somewhat 30 dishes? or 20? somewhere around there. it turns out we somewhat missed quite a number, about 300++
Lets have a simple tryout, ever seen these?

or these?

it's not a chicken, its Guinea Fowl, whatever that is, still taste like chicken tho

Or these?

okay this is abit weird, but still haven't seen it

Fact is, we don't know every food yet. Anyone every tried dried bat kut teh? guess not. How about snails? stir fry with ginger!, guess not too. How about Devil's Curry?(not kidding!) its some Eurasian food. Or Tuna Morney? or Pork Vindaloo? or Prawn Bostador? or Roti Jala? or Koay Kak? or Enche Kabin? or Laksa Lemak? or Babi Chin (really its called that xD)? to infinity and beyond!!
Theres really shitloads of food we haven't tasted or even heard from, so its worth to have a food trip once a while :D
Theres a site to see about more foods, like wikipedia or http://www.malaysianfood.net

2)Actual Findings

Yeap its true, for those of you who says here sucks in every way, its still true, just there's actual breakthrough during your lifespan in these areas. The latest so far i'd guess is the Maerogel. i think it's a literal translation of Malaysian Aerogel. Those of you who know what aerogel is, you know its cool, those of you who don't, just wiki it and you'll know its cool.

You can place it on your hand and burn it without burning your hand! how cool is that!

Apart from the actual findings, we also did a breakthrough in biodiesel, which i think most of you readers known about already.

How about a joint cooperation to work with Rolls Royce with UTM? i bet that kicked ya in the balls.
Also, you dint know they were working with Cambridge do you? Yes they are!, working together to make some kelapa sawit engine or something, i can't quite recall it.
They also work with Imperial College, on field of membranes for energy applications and CO2 capture. It encompasses membrane catalysis, novel multi-functional membrane fabrication and performance of its reactor systems. WTF IS THIS?

Still theres lot's more, like some mechanism for the disabled, some super blue tooth thing, there's another breakthrough, where shrimps skins been used in bones! or the wireless antenna thing(why this of all things to go wireless?)
or some cool ones like Kadomide' Standardised Kadok Extract as Antiangiogenic agent.(I have no idea WTF this is, someone please fill us in this)(seriously)

They also did build a Automatic Floor Tile Laying Machine, back in 2007(it actually brings me to question why are the workers for in the first place?)

You know your face verification system stuffs? guess who found it? WRONG!, yes it is them. EMoFaceID: Online Face Identification System Using Real-TimeEyes and Mouth Tracker (EMoTracker)back in 2007, at USM.

Also the first country to use RFID tech in passport! yes your red malaysian passport is a piece of technology, acknowledge it now! or forever be banished! Your passport has one of a kind, chip mostly on the back cover, where you realize you can skip the long queue of stamping the passport and just go to this machine at KLIA.
Theres the Palm island too. what a waste eh?
We're one of the world's biggest hard disk manufacturer too, so your HDD, better make in Malaysia.

There's alot more breakthrough, just well, i did not find them all, its a pain in the arse. But then still, heck we didn't know we got that many breakthrough did we?

1)Money

Its true, among SEA countries, we're the richest(not screwing around). Well lets look at Malaysian BILLIONAIRES first, we have Robert Kuok and Ananda Krishnan, mega rich peeps, and as quoted from forbes "Malaysia is a particularly bright spot, turning out one-fourth of Southeast Asia's superwealthy, including six billionaires, among them Robert Kuok, the region's richest individual, worth $4.1 billion" then we have a whole list of people who are rich, like really rich e.g people behind the desk :D
http://www.forbes.com/2004/08/25/04seasialand.html

But hey not all of them are there because you know behind the desk... there's peep who worked their way up, like this dude:

Bang! its me!

There's alot more too, but hey, lets go down to earth now and see the global statistics, the GDP for our country in 2008 is 195 Billion, that's alot, for an area of 329,845 km2. Tho we cant compare to Singapore which is the biggest GDP in SEA with a GDP per capita (PPP) of US$49,288 while ours is somewhat $14,081 per capita, but hey bigger than China! which has $6,549 per capita, but their GDP value is $8.767 trillion, TRILLION.
Anyways Malaysia GDP ranks her at 48th in the world so far, and going up as its recognized as a newly industrialized country in 2008.
So as far as opportunities that's going to arise, there's going to be many! smile peeps!
In the 2008 List by the World Bank, we are placed 41, ahead of some countries like Singapore, UAE, Egypt, Qatar, Ukraine, and all the others below the band in that list.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_GDP_%28nominal%29

So yeah we know we have rich peeps, just we dint know there's THAT MANY. There's annually a list of these rich dudes every year. So girls, if you find these peeps you know what to do!, and guys if you look like them, go for their daughters! science has given an increase chance of attraction if you look like em! proven! it's a fact! seriously!

All and all, there we go, 5 things we didn't realize we got so many of, so now, i'ma chill till the next eureka moment to write out another list of stuffs xD. till then, whos free, tell me, i can visit you peeps anywhere anytime!
Till then, CHAOSZ!
Rolando
