For starters, this is officially my first post ever since leaving my home, Malaysia. It's been what...nearly 5 months already. Getting used to four seasons is a bittersweet experience.
I've tasted the sweat beads of summer, braved the cold chilling winds of autumn and soon to come - the frostbites of winter. Hopefully that will pass soon enough, springing into spring for a much more agreeable weather and pollen-infested air to fill my nostrils. Speaking of winter, despite it's gonna turn -15degrees Celsius and more to go under...there isn't gonna be any mini snowman sitting on my window sill. Snow is extremely rare in Aix en Provence. Guess I won't get to experience a White Christmas, neither will I be able to preserve a snowball in my freezer to bring it back as a souvenir for iOxy, then split it up for Chris, Rol & Fui so that we can throw it all at Bui (something impossible which I still and always wanted to do).BUT ENOUGH CRAP AYE?
I've visited Paris as well (pronounced as PA-Riii), the euh...what...city of love and romance. Great place to visit. Not a great place to reside in though. Everywhere I went: whispers & shouts of "CHINOIS" or "CHINA" or "JAPON".I was kinda sad.

I don't mind that they didn't say "MALAYSIA" or vietnam or thailand or any neighbouring country of the sort.
But.
Mainly because.
They missed out "KOREA".
Guess I don't look korean huh. LOL. i *heart* kpop -.-"

Owh and Chinatown in Paris: not so China-ly. I've walked past a few CHINESE couples in the streets. Whatever. They're definitely asian. Guess what. They were conversing in FRENCH.
Okay, despite the fact I'm born of chinese origin and the fact that I converse with my buds in English,
seeing other people of any asian origin conversing between each other in FRENCH is just FRIGGIN' WEIRD. mannnn i'm such a hypocrite xD Alright, on a different note, here's some tips to life: This goes to handphone lovers.
Tip 1: DID YOU KNOW that handphone batteries have an average lifespan of 3 to 5 years maximum?
Tip 2: DID YOU KNOW that if you let your handphone reach critical battery level (near or 0% battery), you're actually risking your battery to be on permanent sleep?
In this case, it might actually kill your battery or it might reduce its lifespan. So, AVOID letting your phone battery reach the RED zone.
Tip 3: DID YOU KNOW that normally a handphone battery can afford 1000 complete cycles of RECHARGE before it suffers a karate chop(haiiii-yah!) in its lifespan?
In other words, recharging your handphone from 0% to 100% for 1000 times. You might think "If that's the case, I'll just charge my phone every possible moment to avoid a complete cycle". Too bad, that loophole doesn't work.
In further detail, 1000 complete cycles of recharging is 10 000% HITPOINTS. For example, recharged from 80% to 100% battery life: 20% hitpoints will be deducted from 10 000 % hitpoints of your battery. Until 10 000% hitpoints is depleted, your battery suffers a permanent loss in vitality.
Tip 4: DID YOU KNOW that batteries discharge energy even when not in use?
OF COURSE YOU DO LOL. But if you want to preserve the lifespan of your handphone battery, keep it in a tightly-sealed bag to avoid moisture. Where to put it? The best place would be some place dry and cool. THE FRIDGE, OF COURSE! Vegetable box is the best place to be. Used to be my summer villa.
A lecturer of psychology explained to me that in French, the "5 Questions" (frankly, it's written in french, looks like English right?) are asked when it comes to the theory of communications. He then said that it's very much similar to the "5 double-yous" in English, a.k.a the "5 W". So it got me wondering about what the Ws stand for in relation to the "5 Questions".
WHO?
Referring to who's emitting a message and who's receiving it.
WHAT?
Referring to what the message consists of.
WHICH?
Referring to which form or means of conveying the message.
WITH?
Referring to (special) effects to help amplify the delivery of the message.
WOH?!
Referring to the reaction of the receiver after receiving a message that is, at first, hard to believe, but it instills curiosity thus gaining further attention from the receiver.
