“What’s the point of getting a girlfriend, huh? We’re going to France in one year, no point also lah…” These were one of the many words my friend, my roomie, KS, said to me during one of our daily 10-minute morning walks to our Uni. Yet a particular situation occurred approx 2 weeks ago. He told me he was going down to Sunway Pyramid in KL on a Sunday to meet some friends. At 2am the night before, I asked him what his plan was for the following day. He didn’t answer me and I didn’t bother.
Ok fine, just another gathering with friends at a particular place. Sounds pretty normal to me. Another roomie of mine, Eddy, tagged along with him to meet his own batch of friends at the same rendezvous. And that Sunday passed like normal *snap* just like that. They came back late at night, nothing peculiar here. Now, it was MONDAY night when I was busy minding my studies on my bed, when suddenly out of the blue, KS asked me from his bed, “Hey, you got see my facebook pm kah?”. Hay: huh? Succeed in what? Your homework?
KS: You know yesterday right, I go meet with friends.
Hay: Wait, your friends? 4 of them right? How many boys and girls?
KS: 2 boys 2 girls.
Hay: And you succeed in…?
*KS shrugs his eyebrows*
Hay: WOI WTF?!
KS: I made a confession.
Hay: WHAT? What happened man?!
KS: Actually right, yesterday I go to meet with my friends, I was already planning. Eddy knew already when we were taking the KTM so I asked him loh what gifts to buy for her. Eddy said flowers and chocolates loh.
Hay: OMG YOU GOT HIDDEN MOTIVE?! What did you do whole day there?
KS: At first I go buy those presents then we meet up then go for lunch loh. Eat at Vietnamese restaurant cuz my friend say eat there nice mah. So I also dunno what to eat loh that time cincai order, order till my food come out like sour sour de not nice wtf.
Hay: swt lol.
KS: But nvm, got ‘her’ there everything eat also nice.
Hay: SWT LOL. Then? Got talk to her kah? When did you confess?
KS: Got one time we were walking side by side, another friend walking in front mah, so I tell her loh. You know I gave her the flowers she paiseh paiseh don’t wanna take it! She said she don’t like fake flowers.
Hay: LOLLL. Her answer how? She accept kah?
KS: At first she don’t say anything. Paiseh bah. Then whole day she don’t really wanna talk to me. Just walk around till dinner time. After eat dinner then time to go back loh. My other 3 friends go back liaw that time. Then I wait with ‘her’ loh cuz she was waiting for her brother to fetch her and since she girl cannot leave her alone bah.
*I can’t help smiling*
KS: Then this time she start to talk more loh. She ask me “Then what will happen to me if you go to France?” I said, “I’ll still come back once a year.” Then she like shy abit. I ask her loh if she accept me. She said, “You think leh?” Then I reach for her hand loh.
Hay: WTFFFFF LOL. You hold hands?
KS: Yea, we hold hands liaw loh, then that time Eddy sms me liaw said wanna go back mah since it was 7pm. I asked him to gimme 2 more hours.
*Eddy told me at that time, he knew KS succeed liaw LOL. At around 9pm KS told Eddy to meet at a bookstore. Eddy was walking behind them and he saw them holding hands. Eddy was envious. KS even turned around to grin when he saw Eddy.*
Hay: Walao eh. Got GF liaw didn’t even tell me! You bast***!!
*I kicked him, stepped on him, dance on him even*
KS: I didn’t wanna tell you so fast bah.
Hay: And who was the one who said “What for need girlfriend? Going to France liaw bah no need lahh” wtf you!!

But yea I can’t but feel really happy for him. Every night since that night, he has been smiling a lot more, especially when he’s on the phone -.-“ but it does annoy me when we’re playing Dota draft matches then SUDDENLY HIS GF CALLED so byebye KS y.y
Hay: You got see KS outside? He non-stop smiling on the phone!
I made sure news of his success spread like wildfire that Monday night and he was bombarded by other friends and roomies with questions HEHEHEH.
KS: Cuz of YOU I cannot sleep that night. I baru told you then so fast the news spread like what ah!
Hay: Good news must be shared asap man! :D
OW I’ve just had my maths test which tested ONLY on theories (prove that THIS is equal to THAT, no NUMBERS, JUST MAGIC PLEASE) yea that gave me hell. BUT Dom, Nelson and I went to the cinemas ystd and we had a dilemma choosing over “District 9” and “I love you Beth Cooper”. I voted for the latter starring Hayden Panettiere and it was NICE!!! I thought the dude was named Beth Cooper, honestly I did. I sincerely like it a lot because it’s funny, romantic, silly, funny, romantic and yea silly and it’s starring Hayden Panettiere! This movie encourages me to make moves with no regrets; at least that’s how I get the message. Do watch it with friends when you have the chance!
